Acne treatment using Vitamins:

Two vitamins, namely, niacin and vitamin A have been used successfully to treat acne. Vitamin therapy should comprise the intake of 100 mg niacin, three times daily, and 50,000 international units of vitamin A, three times daily. Vitamin E, 400 mg, should be taken once daily. This therapy should be continued for a month.

Acne treatment using Zinc :

Another effective remedy in the area of nutrition that seems to offer new promise of help for acne is zinc. It has shown dramatic results in some cases. Zinc should be taken in therapeutic doses of 50 mg three times a day. Zinc is available in tablet and in capsule form. In tablet form, it is available as Zinfet - 200 mg (Yash Pharma, Bombay). The patient can take a quarter tablet so as to get 50 mg of zinc. In capsule form, zinc is available as Ulseal 220 mg (Tam Pharmaceuticals) . One-fourth of the powder inside the capsule can be taken as a single dose. The patient can take a dose of 50 mg daily upto one month or till there is noticeable improvement and then reduce the dose to 25 mg. Garlic has been used successfully to cure acne. Rub with raw garlic several times a day. Garlic is known to have cured the toughest of acne problem. The external use of garlic helps to clear the skin of spots, pimples and boils. Acne can further be cured by eating three seeds of raw garlic once daily for a month. This purifies the blood stream and ensures basic cleansing of blood keeping acne away.

Acne treatment using Coriander and Mint Juice :
A teaspoon of coriander juice, mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder, is another effective home remedy for pimples and blackheads. The mixture should be applied to the face after thoroughly washing it every night before retiring. Mint juice can be used in a similar manner as coriander juice.


Acne treatment using Fenugreek:

Fenugreek is another useful remedy for acne. A paste made of the leaves of this vegetable, applied over the face every night before going to bed and washed with warm water in the morning, prevents pimples and blackheads. Acne treatment using Cucumber Grated cucumber applied over the face, eyes, and neck for fifteen to twenty minutes has been found effective. It is the best tonic for the skin of the face. Its regular use prevents pimples and blackheads.

Acne diet:

All-fruit Acne diet:

To begin with, the patient should take only an 'all-fruit' diet for a week, taking three meals a day, of fresh juicy fruits, such as apples, pears, grapes, grapefruit, pineapples, and peaches. Only unsweetened lemon or plain water, either hot or cold, should be drunk and nothing else.

Well-balanced Acne diet

After the one-week, all-fruit diet, the patient can gradually adopt a well-balanced diet with emphasis on raw foods, especially fresh fruit and vegetables, sprouted seeds, raw nuts, and wholegrain cereals, particularly millet and brown rice. Further short periods of the 'all-fruit' diet for three days or so may be necessary at a monthly interval till the skin's condition improves.

Avoid strong tea/coffee, soft drinks and processed foods Meats, sugar, strong tea or coffee, condiments, pickles, soft drinks, candies, ice cream, refined and processed foods should be avoided as far as possible.

Lie down on the floor. Bend that knee and place your foot in front of your bottom leg, then try to raise the bottom leg up about six inches. Then lower the leg to the floor. Begin with 8 to 10 bottom-leg raises on each side at least three times a week. Slowly increase the workout.




  • Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor; hands either by your sides or in your lap, then swing both legs up so that they're extended straight out in front of you at seat level.
  • Put your hands down at your sides to hold on to your chair and swing your legs up until they're fully extended. Then lift each leg, from foot to hip, about three to six inches.
  • To firm your bottom, lie facedown on the floor, arms out at your shoulders, elbows bent and palms flat on the floor. Now lift one leg, heel first, off the floor about three to six inches, then lower it back to the floor and repeat the lift with your other leg.
  • For stretch marks treatment, diet should be rich in protein and foods rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin E, they promote good tissue growth.

  • Massaging your body with olive oil or Vitamin E may help.



  • Prepare a mixture by adding one ounce of carrier oil (try avocado, sweet almond, jojoba, they are the best) with seven drops of lavender and five drops of chamomile. Apply on the affected areas.

  • Apply cocoa butter and/ or elastin cream through out the body. These are very good for stretch marks.



  • Take 1/2-cup virgin olive oil, 1/4-cup aloe Vera gel, liquid from 6 capsules of Vitamin E, liquid from 4 capsules of Vitamin A. Mix all the ingredients together in a blender. After that store the mixture in the fridge. Apply the oil externally all over the places where the stretch marks commonly appear (abdomen, hips, thighs and breasts). This is an effective home remedy for and by using this continuously stretch marks can be prevented.
  • Mix in a blender 1/2-cup virgin olive oil, 1/2-cup aloe Vera gel and six capsules vitamin E oil (opened). Keep this oil refrigerated and massage into areas with stretch marks at least once a day. This is also an effective home remedy for stretch marks.
  • Lift weights to tighten the surrounding skin. The stretch marks will appear smoother.
  • For stretch marks removal apply cocoa butter stretch creams in the morning and at night to get rid of stretch marks. It works in some cases and not in all.

For Blemishes:


What do you need: Honey
Method: Apply natural honey on your face and massage it gentle all over your face for 10 minutes and wash your face with cold water.
What does it do: Honey can be used instead of alpha hydroxyl masks because if its high content of the acid. It is also safe for sensitive skin.


For aging skin

What do you need: white of an egg and honey
Method: Beat white of an egg with honey and apply on face. Avoid getting to close to eyes.
